BIOGRAPHY

Sewer Trench was started in 2012, London, by Kez Oliveira, Marc Newbrook, Einstein Fernades and Alex Monad. The band's name comes from a HC-137 song, "Valas De Esgoto", about homeless children found "in Sewer Trenches". They play primitive, brutal and raw grind / crust / metal with energetic percussion and chaotic vocals. After releasing their first demo, James Moth (When Gods Burn, B.K.S.) moved in replacing Fernandez on guitar, bringing a Swedish punk feel to the band. Between 2014 and 2016, after Newbrook leaving for Australia, Sewer Trench experience two different singers, first playing with Matty Cabbage (from The Migraines), and finally finding in Hadley Sharp (from Eater Of Man, Clunge Punger and Magogmagore) their definitive frontman. In a matter of weeks he wrote and recorded vocals for their debut album "Optimism".
